Dr. Moreira has an impressive 35+ year career practicing dentistry, and he previously ran his own practice in his native Rio de Janeiro before moving to the U.S. to raise his children. He decided to become a dentist after enduring negative dental experiences as a child, and this motivated him to learn how to provide this type of care as gently as possible. Once he and his family settled in Arizona, in 1994, he completed the rigorous board exams to obtain his American dental license. Over the decades, he has become a staple in his community and loves that he helps so many people (particularly children) form a positive relationship with dentistry.
Dr. Moreira has a very busy life outside of work. He and his wife Claudia have been married for 30 years, and they have four sons as well as four grandchildren. When he isn’t with family, you’ll usually find him woodworking, hunting, fishing, playing tennis, or riding his motorcycle.
