A long-time Arizona resident, Dr. Richard Feldhake has a passion for dentistry along with over 35 years of dental experience, over 20 years of experience in reconstructive dentistry (particularly dental implants), and special needs dentistry.
Dr. Feldhake earned his B.S. degree in Physiology with a minor in chemistry from Southern Illinois University (SIU). He went on to achieve his doctorate in Dental Medicine from the SIU School of Dental Medicine, where he was awarded the Quintessence award, a title for the most exemplary students of the class, upon graduating.
He focused on perfecting his skills and providing his patients with the best possible care, he continued to further his education, receiving a post-graduate certificate in implant dentistry from Implant and Cosmetic Dentistry of North Texas.
Every year he participates in 60-80 hours of continuing education courses to keep current with the ever-changing dental field, learning about new technologies and treatments. In the past he has dedicated numerous hours to classes and workshops covering a wide variety of topics, including dental implants, CEREC, periodontics, endodontics, bone grafting and oral pathology.
In his free time, Dr. Feldhake enjoys spending time with his family; he has three sons and a daughter. He is an avid sport fan, supporting all the major Arizona teams, and also enjoys hunting and fishing. Although he is busy with his family and practice, when he has time, he also likes to volunteer his dental expertise to those in need. He has been a member of the Mission of Mercy since its beginning locally.
