Dr. Kurtz prides himself on providing high-quality care with comfort and compassion. His passion for this field stems from the ability to help his patients achieve their unique goals, improve their health, and keep on smiling!
From a young age, Dr. Kurtz had a strong interest in science and medicine, and he knew early on that he was going to pursue a career in medicine. He eventually chose dentistry in particular because it presented him with a unique opportunity to build strong relationships with patients in need while also working directly with his hands. Several years later, he’s never regretted his decision!
After graduating from Arizona State University, Dr. Kurtz completed his DMD at Midwestern University’s Arizona campus. He also performed an oral surgery externship at Highland Hospital in Oakland, CA, working directly with their Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery team on cases ranging from simple extractions to complex trauma and dental implants. Today, he has received extensive advanced training in dental implant procedures through multiple prestigious organizations. He’s additionally certified in Invisalign and laser dentistry.
Dr. Kurtz is happily married to his high school sweetheart Brooke, and they have two kids named Kade and Kali. When he isn’t busy at the dental office, you can typically find him enjoying quality time out on the water with his family and friends. He also enjoys scuba diving and traveling.
